There are some real stand-out marketing conferences coming up in 2016, and they can be a great way to improve your knowledge and understanding of various marketing strategies and topics, new trends, as well as network with people from your industry and others. Below are ten of the top marketing conferences coming up this year. Book early to take advantage of early bird discounts!


February 9-11 , 2016 | Las Vegas; April 2016 | Chicago; June 1-3, 2016 | New York

Started in 2010, the Social Media Strategies Summit takes place in three cities across the US each year, with 85 percent of the attendees at the management level or above. Speakers are handpicked to provide real-life insight into the latest in social media marketing, including best practices and overall business strategy.

Tickets for the Las Vegas summit are $495 for individual workshops or $1,599 (early bird rate if registered by December 14, 2015) for the entire Summit, with discounts for government and non-profit attendees. Pricing is not yet available for the events in Chicago or New York.

The annual Adobe Summit brings together over 5,000 digital marketing leaders from a variety of industries. Industry pros discuss how to get more quantifiable results from your digital marketing, while also talking about the latest trends and tools available. It includes over 150 sessions in nine tracks available for Core Services, Marketing Analytics, Email and Cross Channel Marketing, Hands-on Labs, Marketing Innovations, Mobile Management, Personalization and Optimization, and Program Advertising. Tracks make it easier to plan your conference experience while making sure you don’t miss the sessions you’re most interested in.

Early bird passes (through Dec. 18, 2015) are $1,495; Advance passes (through Jan. 31, 2016) are $1,695; and full price passes are $1,895 (from Jan. 31, 2015 to March 20, 2015). Discounted group and government/non-profit prices are also available.


April 11 – 13, 2016 | New York, NY

ClickZ Live, formerly SES Conference & Expo, is a three-day event in New York City that includes two conference days plus one training day. It includes eight focused tracks: Data-Driven Marketing, Content Marketing Strategy, Next Generation Search, Social Innovation, Mobile & Local Optimization, Email Marketing, Advanced, and Learn with Google. And of course there are networking events, including a meet-up for newcomers and expert roundtable. Rates & pass details are not yet available.


March 2 – 4, 2016 | Phoenix, AZ

ICON is aimed specifically at small businesses, rather than the more general audience of most other conferences. The conference includes six keynote presentations, more than 30 brand new educational breakout sessions, and a number of networking events. The three-day event includes both sales and marketing educational opportunities with exceptional networking events, intense business strategy, training, and implementation. There’s a focus on creating actionable strategies for moving your business forward, rather than just a lot of talk about theory.

Registration for all access passes start at $299 (if purchased by December 31, 2015) or $499 (if purchased between January 1, 2016 and event dates).


April 10 – 17, 2016 | Houston, TX

The Digimarcon Digital Marketing Conference East takes place each spring. What sets it apart from a lot of marketing conferences is that it takes place on a cruise ship embarking from Houston, TX. The cruise makes stops in Honduras, Belize, and Mexico. June 15 – 16, 2016 | Santa Monica, CA

The Digimarcon Digital Marketing Conference West is a two-day conference held at the luxurious Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, Santa Monica, CA. It covers content strategy, usability and design, mobile marketing, web experience management, customer engagement, social media, branded search and other online marketing topics.
