Regional unemployment diminished in September

One week prior to Election Day 2012, the BLS released its latest “Metropolitan Area Employment and Unemployment” report, which revealed that joblessness is continuing to diminish throughout the United States. According to the BLS, 345 of the nation’s 372 metro areas reported a decline in unemployment from September 2011 to September 2012.
